From the Classroom to the Bay
RG Marine was born out of a genuine love for marine mechanics. My journey began in high school through the BOCES marine repair program, where I first got my hands on an engine. That early dedication landed me a position at a Yamaha dealership, launching a career path defined by rigorous training and certification.
Over the years, I advanced through the Yamaha certification process and expanded my expertise to other major brands, including Mercury. I had the privilege of learning from some of the best minds in the business, mastering the complex systems that keep modern vessels running safely and efficiently.
Why I Started RG Marine
While working at the dealership, I built a reputation for quality work. Eventually, the demand for my help outside of business hours became overwhelming. I realized that boat owners weren't just looking for a mechanic; they were looking for someone who would treat their vessel with personal care and attention to detail.
I decided to take the leap and open RG Marine to provide exactly that: dealership-level expertise with the personal touch of an owner-operator.
